The Holding Court Podcast | A Humorous Podcast about the National Basketball Association

TAG | Philadelphia 76ers

So last night was the return of the Allen Iverson to Philadelphia (perhaps you’ve heard us talk about it for the last two weeks on the show and wherever else people would listen) and Gregg and Aaron headed down to the Wachovia Center to get some footage. Going without tickets, their plan was to just interview folks before the game, but somehow they snuck into the arena and got to see the game. Gregg says it was an “EPIC” night and that the full story will be on the next podcast. Until then, enjoy their video:

Episode #2: Goodbye Iverson?

In this week’s episode we talk about Allen Iverson’s retirement (for now), the sorry state of our city’s NBA team (the Sixers), and the sorry state and future of the Nets. Gregg recounts meeting the Sixers dance team. Dave attempts a Stephen A. Smith voice, but wisely gives up. Aaron talks about his childhood through the play of Allen Iverson. The next time Greg Oden is in Philly for a game, he should take/teach improv classes at the Philly Improv Theater. Aaron and Gregg re-enact the comments by Clippers announcers about an Iranian player and we once again have Players of the Week. Comment or e-mail us what you think at holdingcourtpodcast@gmail.com. And feel free to review the show in iTunes!
